Clayton State's Jamal Geathers Named Daktronics Men's Soccer All-America Honorable Mention

Clayton State men’s soccer player Jamal Geathers has been named Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention. The team is selected by Sports Information Directors nationwide.
Jamal Geathers was named the PBC Freshman of the Year in 2007 after leading the conference with 18 goals in his 20 games. The true freshman from Aiken, S.C., also led the league in points with 39 as Clayton State won the 2007 PBC Championship and the 2007 PBC Tournament while advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in the last four years. Geathers turned in two multi-goal games in 2007 with one hat trick and led the PBC with six game-winning goals.
