Women's Soccer | October 6, 2025

MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State University women's soccer player Amiah Sprunger-Hightower earned this week's Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week. 
 
Amiah had a standout performance for the Lakers as they went 2-0 last week.  In the 2-1 victory over USC Aiken on Wednesday, Sprunger-Hightower scored the match's first goal and added the eventual match-winning goal on Saturday against Middle Georgia.   Sprunger-Hightower now leads the team with three goals on the season. Overall, the Lakers have won two straight and have only conceded two goals in their past three matches. 
 
The Lakers (3-5-1 (2-3 PBC)) host Columbus State on Wednesday evening for TYSA/Breast Cancer Awareness Night at 6 p.m. Please visit claytonstatesports.com for more information.
