MORROW, Ga. – Former Clayton State University men's basketball player
Ricardo Lynch was signed to a professional basketball contract with the Georgia Super League team: Tshhum-Abkhazeti Tbilisi. The team announced the signing via their website on Wednesday.
Lynch had a great 2021-22 season in which he was second on the team in points a game (11.8), made three-pointers (48), made field goals (112), steals (24), and in blocks (17). Additionally, Lynch was the team-leader logging 29.4 minutes a game. The Laker guard notched 20 points in five games last season, including scoring a season-high 26 points against Augusta on February 26
th.
Before arriving to Morrow, Ga., Lynch played for Rogers State University in Oklahoma and he went to high school at Boyd H. Anderson High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Lynch joins former players Brandon Robinson ('11), Aubrey MaRae ('19), Kyle Kincey ('20), and Justin Tuckson ('19) who play in Argentina, Portugal, Armenia, and Sweden, respectively, as the only active professional basketball players from Clayton State University.
