AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) released its Team of Academic Distinction (TOAD) selections for men's basketball on Monday afternoon. Clayton State University guard
DJ Wright was one of only 15 selections from the PBC.
Wright is the first Laker to earn this honor since Brian Coffey in the 2022-23 season. DJ had a great season for the Lakers in 2024-25. DJ is currently in the CSU Graduate program and working to obtain his MBA.
This is his first academic honor as a Laker, but Wright was a four-time ODAC All-Academic team selection and was a two-time CSC All-District honoree at Hampden-Sydney College.
