The Birmingham CrossPlex will once again be the site of Clayton State track & field in action as the Lakers compete in the Emory CrossPlex Invitational.

Clayton State Track & Field Returns to Action at Emory CrossPlex Invitational

MORROW, Ga. – Following a six week hiatus, Clayton State men's and women's indoor track & field is back in action when they return to Birmingham, Alabama for the Emory CrossPlex Invitational on Sunday, January 20.
 
Out of action since November 30, the Lakers will send a total of 25 student-athletes to the Birmingham CrossPlex to compete in nine total events. The men will have 11 competitors in eight events and the women 14 in nine different events.
 
The meet will begin at 10 a.m. (EST) with Clayton State first seeing action at 12 p.m. in the 60-meter prelims for both men and women. Fans can follow the day's activities through the live results link. Heat sheets are available on www.ClaytonStateSports.com which will have full recaps following the conclusion of the meet.
