Junior forward Andrea Benford (Madison, Ga.) delivered a tremendous performance to earn the Chick-fil-A Forest Park Dwarf House Female Student-Athlete of the Month for December. Over the course of four games she averaged 12.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 2.0 steals and 0.8 assists.
 
She also shot .460 from the field while playing just 24.5 minutes per game. That performance helped the Lakers to a perfect 4-0 month with victories over Chowan (77-50 on 12/4), Livingstone (83-68 on 12/5), Lander (82-61 on 12/17) and No. 15 Francis Marion (73-61 on 12/19).
