Redshirt-junior women’s soccer goalkeeper Jessica Charman (Harefield, England) produced a tremendous month, going 5-1-1 in goal with a 1.08 goals against average and .800 save percentage in nearly 670 minutes of action. She also made 32 saves in that time and earned a 3-0 shutout against Lander (9/17).
She also won her first three games of the year, all by 2-1 scores, and made a career-high seven saves in the season opener at West Georgia (9/1). Charman delivered another 2-1 victory, this time at perennial Peach Belt Conference power Georgia College (9/24), before earning a 2-2 tie with Montevallo (9/28). Her lone loss was one goal, overtime decision at Limestone (9/10), a team that now appears in the national rankings.
