With just two games on the month, sophomore forward Ricardo Saams, Jr. (Miramar, Fla.) delivered an impressive outing in that time with averages of 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals to go with a sterling .765 field goal percentage (13-of-17).

He opened that stretch at UNC Pembroke (12/19), playing 26 minutes and coming away with 12 points on 6-of-6 shooting, two rebounds, two assists, a pair of steals and a block.

Saams, Jr. would follow with an even better performance at home against Georgia College (12/21) to close out the month. In 32 minutes he finished with 19 points, nine boards and a career-high four assists.
