MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State University men's soccer goalkeeper
George Roke earned this week's Peach Belt Conference Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
Roke had a standout effort for the Lakers as his team went 1-0-1 this past week. In Wednesday's 3-1 win over North Georgia, Roke conceded one goal and made a season-high eight saves on 16 shots faced. He followed that up with five saves on 13 shots faced in Saturday's 1-1 draw against #22 Florida Tech.
In their last three matches, the Lakers have only conceded three goals and have an overall record of 2-0-1. Roke leads the Peach Belt with 35 saves on the season and 5.83 saves a match.
The Lakers (3-4-2 (2-2-1 PBC) travel down to Americus to face Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday, October 8
th at 7 p.m.
