MORROW, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference selected Clayton State men's soccer goalkeeper
Mauricio Uribe as its Goalkeeper of the Week. This is the third such distinction for Uribe this season.
Uribe had a great week for the Lakers as they went 2-0. On Wednesday's PBC Regular Season clinching match against Georgia Southwestern, Mauricio conceded one goal but made five saves. Uribe was faced with eight shots in the match. In the 2-0 victory over Lander, Uribe made five saves and pitched his fifth shutout of the season. The Lakers have only conceded two goals in their last four matches.
The Lakers (11-2-3 (8-1-1 PBC)) host the PBC Men's Soccer Tournament on Friday, November 15
th and Sunday, November 17
