MORROW, Ga. – The United Soccer Coaches (USC) unveiled this week's Coaches' Poll on Tuesday afternoon. After another 2-0 week, the Clayton State University men's soccer team jumped up to No. 6 in the nation and are ranked first in the Southeast Region. The No. 6 ranking is the highest ranking in a USC poll since the September 6
th, 2011, when they were fifth. Last week, the Lakers earned a pair of 4-1 wins over USC Aiken and Flagler. Earlier this week, the Peach Belt Conference announced that
Alexis Iturria,
Isami Takeuchi, and
Mauricio Uribe earned the Player, Defender, and Goalkeeper of the Week.
