CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – Facing a field that included a pair of Division I schools, Clayton State women's cross country placed 10-of-14 at the 2019 Wingfoot XC Classic on Friday, September 20, finishing with 275 points.
Junior
Na'ilah Allen (McDonough, Ga.) led the Lakers for the second straight meet as she came in 42-of-122 with a time of 20:16.40 while sophomore
Stephanie Escobar (Forest Park, Ga.) was 71
st (21:58.20).
They were followed by senior
Laura Shkembi (Oostende, Belgium) at 76
th (22:23.70) and sophomore

Clayton State, for the first time in 18 years, returns home for a meet on Friday, September 27 as they host the Clayton State Cross Country Challenge Presented by Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The women's race is slated for a 6 p.m. start.
