OXFORD, Ala. – For the fourth straight week, junior
Na'ilah Allen (McDonough, Ga.) led Clayton State women's cross country as they posted a 9-of-21 finish at the 14
th Annual Foothills Invitational on Saturday, October 5, finishing with 256 points.

Allen (McDonough, Ga.) delivered once again, this time placing 24-of-179 with a time of 19:39.80 to spearhead the Lakers strong outing. With 15 Division I competitors ahead of her, it also made her the ninth highest finisher in the field not from that level.

Sophomore
Stephanie Escobar (Forest Park, Ga.) followed in 60
th with a time of 21:40.30 while senior
Laura Shkembi (Oostende, Belgium) was 65
th 21:50.50). Freshman
Sasha Knowles (Nassau, Bahamas) came in in 89
th (22:50.60) and sophomore
Asia Love (Riverdale, Ga.) rounded things out in 95
th with a mark of 23:11.40.

For a fifth straight week Clayton State will be in action as they bring the regular season to a close at the Bobcat Invitational on Saturday, October 12. The women's 6k is slated for approximately 8:30 a.m. in Milledgeville, Georgia.
