Sophomore forward Ricardo Saams, Jr. produced an impressive week with averages of 16.3 points and 8.0 rebounds while shooting .647 (22-of-34) from the field over the course of three games.

He opened the week with seven points and four rebounds in 29 minutes against Lander (1/20) and then would not leave the court the rest of the week. Two days later he would put up 15 points and rip down 11 boards for a double-double against Columbus State (1/22).

Saams, Jr. would wrap the week with a tremendous performance at North Georgia (1/25) as he went 12-of-17 from the field and registered a career-high 27 points to go with nine caroms, four of which came off the offensive glass.
