Junior Chelsy Haynes (Buena Vista, Ga.) produced a strong performance at the Emory Invitational (3/18) this past weekend.

In the discus she placed 15-of-59 with a distance of 32.42-meters. That was just 0.03 from breaking her personal best set in her previous outing at the Savannah State Relays (32.42m).

She wrapped up the weekend with a 30-of-56 performance in the shot put, hitting a mark of 9.87-meters.
