Freshman Tatiana Foster (Atlanta, Ga.) put together another solid week that included some outstanding defensive performances. Entering the week at No. 6 in NCAA Division II in steals per game, and leading the Southeast Region, she averaged 9.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and a stunning 4.5 steals per game and shot .538 from the field. She accomplished all that in just 23 minutes per game.

Against Young Harris (1/3) she scored eight points to go along with two boards, a pair of assists and three steals in a 62-56 win before turning it on at Francis Marion (1/6). In that game she produced 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting (.625), four rebounds, a pair of assists and a career-high tying six steals. The latter was the fourth time she has accomplished that in the first 12 games of her young career.

On the season she is averaging 6.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 3.7 steals. Following her nine steal week, that last number puts her in line to be fifth in all of NCAA Division II. She leads the PBC by a full steal (3.7 to 2.7) and the Southeast Region by 0.4 ahead of Brea Forbes of Lees-McRae.
