MORROW, Ga. – Head Clayton State University women's basketball coach Kaleena Coleman announced on Tuesday afternoon its 2025-26 schedule. The schedule features 12 home games and 15 away games and features four teams who made the 2025 NCAA DII Women's Basketball Tournament.
The Lakers open their season with two tournaments on the road. Coach Coleman's team travels down to Saint Augustine, Fla. to play in the Conference Challenge with against Shorter on November 14
th and Anderson (S.C.) on November 15
th. The Lakers then venture up to Dahlonega in the UNG Nighthawk Classic to play Carson-Newman on Friday, November 21
st and Lincoln Memorial on Saturday, November 22
nd. Clayton State then opens their home slate hosting Palm Beach Atlantic on November 25
th at 1:30 p.m.
After a trip to Fayetteville State on November 29
th, the Lakers open their Peach Belt Conference slate down in Milledgeville playing Georgia College on December 3
rd. Clayton State then returns home to play North Georgia on December 6
th at 6 p.m., in its home PBC opener. The Lakers then close 2025 with a home game against Columbus State on December 13th and road games against Lander and Georgia Southwestern on the 10
th and 17
th, respectively.
The Lakers open 2026 with three of their next four inside the Loch hosting USC Beaufort on January 3
rd, Middle Georgia State on the 10
th and Clark Atlanta on the 14
th. The lone road trip during that stretch is on January 7
th against Augusta. The Lakers finish out January with three of the final five games at home hosting Flagler, Georgia College, and Lander while traveling to USC Aiken and North Georgia. February is very road heavy as the Lakers have road trips to Columbus State on February 7
th, Middle Georgia on the 11
th, USC Beaufort on the 21
st, and Flagler on the 25
th. Coach Coleman's team hosts Georgia Southwestern, Augusta, and USC Aiken for Senior Day and Homecoming on the 28
th.
