MORROW. Ga. – Director of Athletics Jermaine Rolle announced on Tuesday that the Clayton State University Department of Athletics has aligned with Influxer to provide Clayton State University student-athletes with name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities. 
 
"We are thrilled to partner with Influxer to empower our student-athletes at Clayton State University with innovative Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities," said Rolle. "This collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting the personal and professional growth of our student-athletes, while also providing them with the resources to maximize their potential both on and off the field. With Influxer's expertise, we are excited to help our student-athletes navigate and excel in the ever-evolving NIL landscape."
 
Influxer, who was founded in Dallas, Texas in 2022, works with more than 44,000 student athletes across over 500 universities around the country to connect student-athletes to the resources to thrive in the NIL market.  Influxer gives the student-athlete an opportunity to sell personalized merchandise with their school's officially licensed branding.
 
 Influxer is also committed to educate the student athlete on how to succeed in the new environment.  They do this through one-on-one coaching on a variety of topics including social media marketing, taxes, and contracts.  The company also offers paid internships to student athletes on most of their partner campuses to assist in marketing, graphic design, business, and other facets of the company. 
 
"Influxer is excited to work with Clayton State because Jermaine Rolle and the administration understand not only the immediate benefits of working with us, but also the long-term resources for their student-athletes," said VP, Keith Miller. "NIL is not simply transactional, but an opportunity which Influxer wants to further into the development process for their student-athletes"
 
Once a Clayton State student-athlete has opted into the store, Laker fans will be able to find the new apparel at the official Clayton State Influxer Store as well as the student's own personalized site.  All designs are approved by the University and are available in every student-athlete's own store in the same sport.  The merchandise list includes hats, sweatshirts, jerseys, tumblers, and more, with new designs and products being rolled out each year.
