Men's Track & Field | April 10, 2025

MORROW, Ga. – The Clayton State University track & field teams are back in action on Friday and Saturday up in Rome for the Berry Field Day Meet.  The Lakers are looking to continue with strong momentum from the season thus far.

Time: Friday: 4 p.m. | Saturday: 11 a.m.
 
The Lakers have many top five marks in conference including Cayla Brown in the 100m and 200m dashes.  Brown is currently fifth in the 100m and the leader in the 200m.  Ziona Harris and Marley Tate follow her as they stand in fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 400m.  The Lakers, on the women's side, have the top time in the 4x100m relay and owns the second fastest time in the 4x400m relay this season.  The women's team continues to bring good results going into this meet.
 
The Lakers, on the men's side, have a plethora of top 10 marks in the conference this season including Titus Hand running the 10^th fastest 200m time and Nehemiah Horton running the 7^th fastest time in the 800m run.  Camron Gaddis also has locked up a pair of top 10 results as he is 10^th in the 800m and is ninth in the 1500m run.  The leader of this men's team is Davonte Jackson.  Jackson is currently second in the PBC in the 110m hurdles (14.97), in the 400m hurdles (53.97) and is fourth in the long and triple jumps.
