MORROW, Ga. – Head Clayton State University Women's Soccer Coach
Ross Henderson announced on Thursday morning the 2024 women's soccer schedule.
Coach Henderson's robust schedule features eight home and eight away matches. The schedule also features a mix of seven non-conference matches and nine conference matches. The Lakers are slated to matchup with North Georgia, Flagler, and Columbus State who competed in the 2023 NCAA Division II Tournament in 2023.
The Lakers kick off the 2024 season with a pair of road matches featuring matches at Delta State on Thursday, September 5
th and Auburn Montgomery on Sunday, September 8
th. Clayton State then opens their home schedule on Friday, September 13
th hosting West Alabama at 5 p.m. The Lakers then host Rollins and Young Harris on September 15
th and September 18
th, respectively. Clayton State then opens Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play on the road at Albany State on September 21
st.
Coach Henderson's squad then returns home on Saturday, September 28
th as they host Georgia Southwestern for their home PBC opener. After the Lakers host Georgia College & State on October 2
nd, they embark on a three-match road trip with stops at Shorter on October 9
th, Lander on October 12
th and finish with a stop at Columbus State on October 16
th. The Lakers finish their schedule with three of the final five matches at home, hosting Flagler on October 19
th, USC Beaufort on October 26
th and Montevallo on November 4
th. During that stretch, the Lakers travel to North Georgia on October 23
rd and USC Aiken on November 2
nd.
