Boxscore DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Clayton State University women's soccer team saw their season come to an end as the top-seeded North Georgia Nighthawks earned a 3-0 win on Saturday afternoon in the Quarterfinals of the 2025 PBC Women's Soccer Tournament. The Lakers finished the season with an overall record of 4-11-2.
The Lakers were unable to muster any offense in the entire match and were outshot 27-0. They did have one corner ball in the second half but that did not materialize to anything significant.
Rubie Kelley was "johnny on the spot" in the first half making five saves on the half. The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in the first half.
Halftime: #1 North Georgia 0, #8 Clayton State 0
The Nighthawks brought back that offensive pressure in the second half and tacked on 15 more shots. North Georgia eventually broke through and scored three times and shutout the Lakers, 3-0. They scored 55
