AMERICUS, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) released its 2023-24 All-Conference teams at the Awards Banquet at Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday evening. 
 
Clayton State University women's basketball standout Jadah Waite earned third-team honors.  Waite becomes the 26^th all-conference selection in program history.  The Lakers have had an all-conference selection each season since joining the PBC in the 1999-2000 season.     
 
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Waite had a terrific season for the Lakers.  In 21 games, Waite averaged 15.1 points, scored 318 total points, and shot 44.1% from the field.  In addition, she shot 42.3% from beyond the arc and led the team with 41 made threes.  She notched double-digit scoring totals in all 21 games this season including scoring a season-high 20 points in a pair of games.  Overall, Jadah was second on the team with 38 steals and a free throw percentage of 73.8%.
