MORROW, Ga. – The D2CCA announced on Tuesday afternoon its selections for the 2024 Women's Soccer All-America.  Clayton State University women's soccer player Carrie Consolino earned second-team honors.

Carrie is the first Laker since Maria Marti Bartis in 2014 to receive All-America honors and only just the fifth Laker in program history to earn such a feat.  This season was a special one for Consolino. Earlier this season, the Peachtree City native earned first team All-PBC and first-team All-Southeast Region from D2CCA.  This season saw Carrie score 19 goals and add four assists.  Her 19 goals is tied for second in the nation and was second in the conference only behind Flagler's Andrea Fernandez who scored 22.

Consolino also notched 42 points which was fifth nationally and attempted 71 shots.  The Laker forward notched five matches with two or more goals and two matches with three or more goals scored.  She scored in 10 of 17 matches played.  Earlier this season, Carrie broke the single-match record, tallying 11 points against Shorter.
