MEET PREVIEW
The men's team is led by the one-two-punch of Camron Gaddis and Rakiem Barnes.  The Laker sophomores finished first and second in the first two meets of the season.  Gaddis placed in the top 20 in both meets after finishing 10th in the GMC Brickyard Invitational and 16th in the Julius Johnson Invitational.  Barnes, on the other hand, picked up two top 25 finishes after crossing the finish line in 14th place in the GMC Brickyard Invitational and 25th at the Julius Johnson Invite.

Freshman Nevin Swanson follows Gaddis and Barnes as he placed third on the team in each of the first two meets.  Swanson saw his best time come at the Julius Johnson Invitational crossing the finish line with a time of 29:14.6.  As a team, the Lakers have brought home a pair of fourth place finishes.

On the women's side, Jada Warren, Tanaeya Johnson, and Story Alexander lead the Lakers into the Asics/Alexander Invitational.  Warren looks to continue her strong start to the season as she led the Lakers in the first two meets.  At the GMC Brickyard Invitational, Jada won the race with a time of 21:20.30 and she placed eighth at the Julius Johnson Invite with a time of 20:25.9.  Alexander and Johnson follow close behind.  Tanaeya was the individual runner-up at the GMC Brickyard Invitational with a time of 21:43.80 while placing 16th at the Julius Johnson Invitational with a time of 21:06.1.
