WINGATE, N.C. – Junior Na'ilah Allen (McDonough, Ga.) put an impressive cap on a tremendous season as she led and led Clayton State for a seventh straight meet as the team wrapped up 2019 at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championships on Saturday, November 9.
 
Allen posted a time of 23:44.30 to finish 49-of-181 while sophomore Stephanie Escobar (Forest Park, Ga.) delivered a 6k personal best. She would cover the distance in 25:10.30 to place 92^nd. Freshman Sasha Knowles (Nassau, Bahamas) rounded out the performances with a 143^rd place finish at 27:27.20.
 
The Lakers did not score as a team with only three runners competing. They close out a 2019 campaign that saw them run in seven meets, including their first home meet since the 2001 season.
