Na'ilah Allen (McDonough, Ga.) and sophomore
Stephanie Escobar (Forest Park, Ga.) led Clayton State for a fourth straight week as the team placed 5-of-14 at the Bobcat Invitational on Saturday, October 12. As a team they compiled 163 points.

Allen paced the Lakers with a 14-of-105 finish (23:35.10) while Escobar notched a Top-30 finish in 26
th with a time of 25:24.10. Joining them in finishing among the top 50 runners were senior
Laura Shkembi (Oostende, Belgium) in 36
th at 26:19.90, freshman
Sasha Knowles (Nassau, Bahamas) in 41
st (27:17.60) and sophomore
Asia Love (Riverdale, Ga.) in 46
th (28:30.20).

As was the case with the men, the women each delivered a personal best to achieve that feat for what is believed to be the first time in program history.

Clayton State will look to take advantage of their first off week all season just before the 2019 Peach Belt Conference Championships. That will be hosted by UNC Pembroke in Lumberton, North Carolina on Saturday, October 26 with the women leading things off at 9 a.m.
