Ariel Boyd-Ghani (Morrow, Ga.) was Clayton State women's cross country's top finisher as the team came in 7-of-10 at the 2018 Peach Belt Conference Championship on Saturday, November 3. As a team they finished with 196 points.

Boyd-Ghani posted a 33-of-82 finish with a time of 19:59.50 to pace the Lakers while sophomore
Na'ilah Allen (McDonough, Ga.) was right behind her in 34
th (20:06.10). Senior
Lynnet Kosgei (Eldoret, Kenya) was the next highest finisher in 47
th with a time of 20:45.40 and senior
Carla Catala Martin (Barcelona, Spain) was 54
th (21:13.10).

Freshman
Stephanie Escobar (Forest Park, Ga.) came in in 59
th with a time of 21:23.00 and junior
Laura Shkembi (Oostende, Belgium) was 72
nd (22:47.00). Freshman Asia Love (24:12.20) rounded things out in 76
th.

Flagler claimed the team championship with 46 points, finishing ahead of North Georgia (60), Columbus State (70), Georgia College (95) and host Augusta (96).

Clayton State is back in action on Saturday, November 17 as they compete in the 2018 NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championship. Hosted by North Georgia, that national championship qualifier will be held in Oakwood, Georgia at 9 a.m.
