MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (4-3-2, 1-3-0 PBC) continues a daunting Peach Belt Conference schedule as they hit the road for a meeting with defending conference tournament champion UNC Pembroke (3-3-0, 0-1-0 PBC) on Saturday, October 6. Game time is set for 4 p.m. in Pembroke, North Carolina.

All-time the Lakers are 9-8-2 all-time against the Braves and are 4-4 on the road in the series. Following three straight wins by the Lakers from September 22, 2012 through September 27, 2014 UNCP has now won the last Four.
 
That stretch began on September 26, 2015 and includes a narrow 4-3 PBC Quarterfinal victory on November 2, 2016. Most recently the Braves escaped with a narrow 1-0 decision on September 20, 2017 in Morrow during their championship season.

The latter is a result of the Lakers agreeing to move the game back three hours to afford UNCP additional recovery time following their rescheduled game against No. 3 Columbus State on October 4.
