MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Taking on the top teams in the region, senior
Marcus Lafleur (Douglasville, Ga.) paced Clayton State men's cross country with a 30
th place finish in the 2016 NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championships on Saturday, November 5. As a team, the Lakers finished 17
th out of 24 teams with 381 points.

Lafleur shattered his 10k personal best as he notched a time of 32:02.39 to place 30
th out of the 169 competitor field. That time bested his previous top mark of 35:50.90 set at the 2014 NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championships.

Ryan Polk (Marietta, Ga.) came in at 68
th with a time of 33:10.56 while sophomore
Aaron Martin (Lawrenceville, Ga.) was 80
th (33:33.52).
