Men's Cross Country | October 25, 2025
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Clayton State University cross country teams competed in the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning. The men's team finished fourth while the women took eighth place. Flagler swept the men's and women's races.
MEN'S SIDE
The Lakers were led by their senior
Camron Gaddis. Gaddis finished in 24
th with a final time of 26:31.8. Gaddis also finished in 24
th in last season's championships and he captured his fourth top 30 finish of the season. Following behind was
Emanuel Dixon and
Dion Dial. Dixon clocked a final time of 27:03.3 and placed 34
th. Dial posted a new PR with a time of 27:13.2 and finished in 36
th place.
Mykell Strickland and
James Morrow round out the top five for the Lakers. Both Strickland and Morrow finished in the top 50 overall placing in 40
th and 49
th, respectively. Mykell clocked a time of 27:28.1 while Morrow turned in a time of 28:01.6. The Lakers also saw solid performances from
Terry Mitchner,
Abubakr Jallow,
Josh Soluade,
Brandon Nolen, and
Miles Johnson in these Championships.
The Lakers tied for their best finish since since 2011, placing fourth overall. In addition, the PBC selected
James Morrow who represents the squad on the All-Sportsmanship team.

WOMEN'S SIDE
The Lakers were led by their senior
Jada Warren. Warren finished in 36
th place with a time of 20:13.0. Warren led the Lakers in all races this season and this marks the third time that she led the team at the PBC Championships. Following Jada was
Ivorie Smith who finished in 55
th place with a final time of 21:14.2. That time was good for her second best time on the season.
Ahlana Failey and
Marley Tate finished in third and fourth on the team, respectively. Failey clocked a final time of 21:43.6 while Tate turned in a time of 22:13.9.
Maleena Castillo,
Kalkidan Hawkins and
Amaya Myers rounded on the Lakers in the Championships. Castillo posted a time of 22:40.1, which is good for a new PR, while Hawkins and Myers clocked times of 22:50.5 and 23:14.6. Myers hit a new PR with her time, while Hawkins ran her best time of the season.
The Lakers finished eighth out of 11 teams in the field.
