2018-19: Saw action in four meets, competing exclusively in the shotput in each … performed at a high level in each, topping out with a personal best of 11.11-meters at the BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker (11/30) … finished 10-of-30 in that her first collegiate meet and was 11-of-35 with a distance of 10.79-meters at the Southern Indoor Challenge (2/11) … was 15-of-44 with distance of 10.70-meters at Emory CrossPlex Invitational (1/20).
Outdoor Track & Field
2019: Competed in six meets and 17 events … named Peach Belt Conference Field Athlete of the Week twice (3/13, 3/26) … notched a pair of top five finishes, including 3-of-53 in the discus (38.95m) at the Emory Invitational (3/23) and 4-of-33 in that event with a distance of 36.94 at the Savannah State Eye Opener (3/2) … discus mark was one of four personal bests along with the hammer (34.05m) at Savannah and shot put (10.74m) and javelin (14.33m) at the Gulf South/Peach Belt Challenge (4/6).
Tift County High School: Member of track and field, cheerleading and marching band programs for Blue Devils … earned 40-plus medals over the course of her high school career … qualified for Regional and Sectional competition all four years … as a senior, finished seventh in the Georgia State High School Association (GSHA) State Championships and earned silver medals in shotput and discus in Sectionals, placing fifth overall … won discus at Regionals as a sophomore, notching personal-best 36.40-meters … earned multiple “Thrower of the Year” honors … in marching band, competed with the Flawless Divas, winning Best Overall in the senior division at a majorette competition in Jacksonville, Florida in February of 2018 … member of Future Business Leaders of America and Leadership and Scholarship Cotillion Program.
Personal: Born on August 7, 2000, Kiara is the daughter of Jennifer Williams and Larry Green and stepmother Ann Green … family includes four siblings, sisters Jaida (10) and Lowery (21) and brothers Keyo (21) and Shayon (28) … currently majoring in Psychology and Human Services.
