#13 Men's Soccer Draws with Tampa, 1-1 on Thursday Evening

This is the first result for the Lakers against Tampa in almost seven years

TAMPA, Fla. – The #13 Clayton State University men's soccer team embarked on their first road trip of the season as they played the Spartans of Tampa on Thursday evening.  The two teams braved a weather delay and the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw.

Tampa brought the offensive pressure in the first half outshooting the Lakers, 7-2.  Adrian Lopez and Camilo Velez provided the shots for the Lakers.  Tampa had its fair share of chances, but Kalle Kuisma and the Laker defensive unit snuffed out each opportunity.  The two teams went into the half knotted up at zeros.  The Lakers attempted three corner kicks in the half.
