AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its selections for the Presidential Honor Roll on Tuesday afternoon.
The Clayton State University Department of Athletics saw 89 of its student-athletes earn this honor. 89 selections are the most in department history and broke last year's total of 82. Of those 89 selections, 18 earned Gold Scholar, 27 earned Silver Scholar, 26 earned Bronze Scholar, and 18 earned Presidential honors. 27 Silver Scholars and 26 Bronze Scholars are the most in program history.
The Department was paced by the men's and women's soccer programs posting 19 and 18 selections, respectively. Following close behind was men's track with 13, women's basketball with 12, and women's track with eight. Rounding out the department was both men's cross country and basketball with seven and women's cross country with five.
ABOUT THE AWARD
The PBC Presidential Honor Roll, presented by Barnes & Noble College, honors all PBC students that achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher and is divided into four different divisions, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Presidential. The PBC had over 2,000 student athletes represented on this list.
