MORROW, Ga. – The Lakers closed out their 2025- 26 regular season on Saturday afternoon by hosting the USC Aiken Pacers on Homecoming and Senior Day. The Lakers picked up the big 64-51 win, solidifying their place in the PBC Tournament next week.
The Lakers set the tone early with active defense, quick scoring opportunities, turning multiple early turnovers into points.
Jasmyn Burts helped spark the offense with scoring in the paint while also setting up teammates, including a first-quarter assist that led to a bucket. The Lakers continued to apply pressure defensively as
Dazjanae Greene and
Nya Young came up with key steals that led to fast-break points. As the first half continued, the Lakers kept the momentum going with inside scoring from
Paige McDonald and
Tianna Dismuke, helping maintain control despite brief runs from USC Aiken.

USC Aiken opened the second half looking to close the gap, but the Lakers answered with another strong stretch of defense and transition offense.
Aniya Jones and
Jada Grigsby connected on multiple plays, including assists that led to key baskets to keep the lead steady. Later in the half,
Kyla Greene delivered a big three point shot that helped halt a potential push by the Pacers, while the Lakers continued to capitalize on turnovers. Dismuke and Jones added important buckets down the stretch, and the Lakers defensive pressure sealed the game as they pulled away to secure the 64-51 win.
