MORROW, Ga. – The Clayton State University men's soccer team hosted Flagler College on Saturday afternoon. The Lakers fell behind early and could not recovery as they were shutout 4-0.
The Lakers had plenty of opportunities in the first half but Flagler made five saves and snuffed out each opportunity.
Adrian Lopez,
Miguel Goncalves,
Sonny Simpson, and
Camilo Velez were among the Lakers with shots in the first half. The Saints scored their goals in the 15
th and 18
th minutes and led going into the half, 2-0.

The Lakers put on a ton of pressure in the second half. However, Flagler, again, made five saves and shut down the Lakers offensively. Clayton State attempted 11 shots on the half and held the possession most of the half. Velez,
Joao Amaral,
Arttu Leivonen, and
Lucas Schofield all notched shots in the second half. The Saints added to their lead in 72
nd and in the 86
th minute, respectively.
Flagler forced a lot of timely pressure on the Laker defense and earned a road win over the Lakers, 4-0.
