Camron Gaddis Earns PBC Male Runner of the Week Honors

Men's Cross Country | September 22, 2025

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced on Monday afternoon that Clayton State men's cross country standout Camron Gaddis was selected as the Male Runner of the Week.   This is the first such honor for Gaddis in his Laker career. 
 
Gaddis had a tremendous weekend for the Lakers at the Willie Laster Invitational.  The senior from Lawrenceville, Ga. finished second overall with a time of 26:22.1.  Not only is the best individual finish of his Laker career, but he was also one of only two runners that finished sub-27 minutes.  Gaddis and the Laker men's team won their first meet since 2016 with 24 points and saw five of their men place in the top 10. 
 
The Lakers are back in action on Friday, September 26th as they compete in the GCSU Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College.  The women race at 5 p.m. while the men compete at 6 p.m. Please visit claytonstatesports.com for the most updated information.
