MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Clayton State University women's soccer team played the Bobcats of Georgia College & State University on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats took down the Lakers, 4-0, in a weather-shortened match.
The Lakers were only able to muster a pair of shots by
Karley Perry in the first half, and the Bobcats went into the halftime break leading, 2-0. GCSU scored their goals in the 8
th and 14
th minute of the match. The Bobcats peppered keeper
Rubie Kelley with 10 shots, and she made three saves.

The Bobcats kept putting shots on the Laker defense as they were faced with seven shots. Second half keeper
Claire Smith made four saves. The Bobcats extended their lead with goals in the 71
st and 72
nd minute and jumped out to a 4-0 lead.
Aniyah Vargas supplied the offense for the Lakers with two shots in the second half, but the Bobcats won the match, 4-0.

The Lakers (1-3-1 (0-1 PBC)) travel to the Lowcountry to play USC Beaufort on Wednesday, September 24
th. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. from Bluffton, S.C.
