Coach Clarke Announces the 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule

The schedule consists of six home and 10 away matches

MORROW, Ga. – Head Clayton State University women's soccer coach Ricky Clarke announced on Tuesday morning its 2025 schedule.  This schedule features six home and 10 away matches. 
 
TAKE A LOOK BACK
Clayton State finished off its 2024 campaign with an overall record of 8-3-6 and went 3-2-4 in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC).  This season was one for the record books as three losses is tied for the lowest loss total since 2005 while also earning the most wins since 2019.  The Lakers ultimately finished their season in the Quarterfinals of the PBC Tournament. 
 
LOOKING AHEAD
Coach Clarke and the Lakers open their 2025 season on the road with matches against Rollins (9/4), Barry (9/6), and West Alabama (9/12).  The Lakers open at home on Tuesday, September 17th against Anderson at 6 p.m. CSU then hits the road for three of the next four matches including stops at Georgia College on September 20th, USC Beaufort on September 24th, and USC Aiken on October 1st.  During that series of match, the Lakers play Lander on September 27th at Laker Field for Alumni Day. 
 
The Lakers then continue the early part of October at home hosting PBC newcomer Middle Georgia State on October 4th and PBC rival Columbus State on October 8th.  Clayton State then heads on another road trip playing Flagler, Georgia Southwestern, and Lincoln Memorial on October 18th, 25th, and 29th, respectively.  During that stretch, the Lakers will play a match at Laker Field hosting Albany State on October 22nd
 
The Lakers then close out the regular season hosting North Georgia for Senior Day on November 1st and venturing out of conference to play Montevallo in Alabama on November 3rd
