MONTEVALLO, Ala – The Clayton State women's soccer team concluded its regular season playing the Falcons of the University of Montevallo on Monday evening. The Lakers lost, 2-0.
The Lakers provided little to no offense the entire match as they were only able to muster a first half shot by
Brook Wells. The Falcons notched their goals in the 21
st and 75
th minutes. The Lakers went with
Rubie Kelley in the first half who was faced with 14 shots and made five saves. Like Kelley,
Claire Smith was peppered with six shots in the second half and made four saves.
The Falcons stymied the Lakers offensively and took home a 2-0 win.
