Men's Basketball | September 24, 2024

MORROW, Ga. – Head Clayton State men's basketball coach Vince Alexander announces on Tuesday afternoon its 2024-25 schedule.  The schedule includes 16 home games and 11 away games. 
 
The Lakers open their 2024-25 slate as they host the Peach Belt/South Atlantic Conference Challenge welcoming Chowan, Tusculum, and Lenoir-Rhyne to the Loch on Friday, November 8^th through Saturday, November 9^th.  The Lakers are back home the following weekend hosting the Clayton State Classic featuring Columbus State, Miles, and Edward Waters on Friday, November 15^th and Saturday, November 16^th.  All Friday game times are at 5:30 & 7:30 p.m. while the Saturday games are 1:30 & 3:30 p.m.  The Lakers will play in the later times on both dates. 
 
Clayton State then travels up the road to Clark Atlanta on November 20^th and Morehouse on the 23^rd before hosting North Georgia for the first PBC game of the season on December 7^th.  Coach Alexander's squad then steps back outside PBC play and hosts Fort Valley State on December 11^th, Young Harris on December 14^th, and Albany State on December 19^th. 
 
Clayton State then hits the road at the start of the New Year with trips to USC Beaufort on January 4^th, Lander on January 11^th, and Columbus State on January 15^th.  Sandwiched in between those games is a home game against Augusta on January 8^th.  After hosting Flagler on January 18^th, the Lakers visit Georgia College on January 22^nd and USC Aiken on January 25^th. 
 
The Lakers then start a stretch with four of their next five games at the Loch hosting Georgia Southwestern on January 29^th, USC Beaufort on February 1^st, and Lander and Columbus State on February 8^th and 12^th, respectively.  Clayton State finishes their regular season with three of their final five games on the road including stops at Flagler, Georgia Southwestern, and North Georgia.  Senior Day is scheduled for Saturday, February 22^nd against USC Aiken.
