st the list of schools that earned the USC Academic Team Award.
Both of our men's and women's Clayton State University soccer programs cracked the list of over 431 different men's and women's soccer programs across all divisions of collegiate soccer. Of that total, there were only 107 schools that saw both a men's and women's program represented. The last time both the men's and women's team earned this distinction was in the 2021-22 season. Clayton State is the only Peach Belt Conference (PBC) school represented on the list.
To be selected for this distinction, the team must boast a cumulative GPA of over a 3.0 and must have a coach who is a member of the United Soccer Coaches.
