Men's Basketball | November 2, 2023
AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced on Thursday morning its men's basketball Preseason rankings and All-Conference team. The Clayton State University men's basketball team were featured in those rankings in ninth place. North Georgia was picked to win the conference with 76 votes.
Head Coach
Vince Alexander is in his third season at the helm of the Lakers and looks to improve upon last's season's result. Alexander returns
Christian Chambers,
Baqi Lecky,
Travis Harper II, and
Wes Williams from last year's team while he welcomes 12 newcomers. Of those newcomers, nine are transfers and three are freshmen.

The Lakers open their 2023-24 season on Saturday, November 11
th and Sunday, November 12
th as they play in the Southeast Regional Challenge hosted by Anderson University. Clayton State will play Emmanuel on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. while playing the host Anderson on Sunday at 7 p.m.
