KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) (formerly CoSIDA) announced its selections for the Women's Soccer Academic All-District teams on Tuesday afternoon. The Clayton State University women's soccer team saw a pair of players selected to this honor.
Luise Domnick and
Kamila Mroziewicz were both named CSC Academic All-District selections. This is the first time Domnick and Mroziewicz were selected for this prestigious honor.
A native of Jena, Thuringia, Germany, Domnick had a solid season for the Lakers. Domnick notched a team-leading five assists and added a goal. Domnick tallied four assists against Albany State, which is tied for the program record for the most assists in a single-game. Luise saw action in 13 matches and made 11 starts. Majoring in Business Management, Domnick is a two-time honoree of the PBC Team of Academic Distinction, placed on the PBC Presidential honor roll and was a recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement award.
A native of Zagan, Poland, Mroziewicz had a good senior season for Clayton State. Kamila, who played in and started in 14 of 15 matches, scored three goals and notched a pair of assists. Mroziewicz scored two of those three goals in the 11-1 win over Albany State. Majoring in General Business, Mroziewicz is a two-time honoree of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement honor as well as being selected to the PBC Team of Academic Distinction and PBC Presidential honor roll once.
CSC Academic All-America teams are released on December 6
th at 12 p.m.
