MORROW, Ga. -- The Clayton State women's soccer team is set to host Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday afternoon for a NCAA Division II non-conference matchup.

The two teams have only ever met three times with the Lakers leading the series 2-1. The last time they met was in 2008 in Morrow with LMU winning 2-1.
Clayton State enters the match with an 0-1 record after falling 3-2 in double overtime against Valdosta State on Thursday. The Lakers fell behind 2-0 before scoring a pair of goals in a one-minute span to draw even 2-2 midway through the second half. Clayton State then appeared to score the gamewinner with just over three minutes left but the referee called a hand ball on Clayton State and wiped the goal away.
After battling in the first overtime, the Blazers managed to score in the second overtime to take the win.
Isabel Massa and
Kamila Mroziewicz scored for Clayton State in the loss while
Lois Beer delivered an assist to Mroziewicz for the second-half equalizer.
Lincoln Memorial comes into the match with a record of 1-0 after defeating Bluefield State 4-0 on Sunday. The Railsplitters scored a pair of goals in each half and held the opponents to just two shots.
LMU's Jessica Cravero and Rachel Taylor each had a brace in their win over Blufield State.
