Women's Soccer Earns 1-0 Win At Young Harris

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. –  The Clayton State women's soccer team delivered a 1-0 win at Young Harris College Monday evening. The win pushes the Lakers' season and Peach Belt Conference record to 3-2. 
 
Tied 0-0 in the 68th minute, Clayton State was able to strike first off a corner kick. Lois Beer delivered the kick, finding Kamila Mroziewicz who was able to head the ball in for her second goal of the season. 

The Lakers applied pressure for the remainder of the game and allowed two shots following their goal, both off target. 
 
The two teams battled hard in the first and played to a 0-0 draw after the opening 45 minutes. 

Clayton State outshot Young Harris 5-3 in both halves and finished with a 5-2 shots on goal advantage. 

Isabel Massa had a game-high three shots with two on goal while Ida Ditlevsen added two shots. 

Valentina Bonaiuto finished with two saves and a clean sheet. 

COMING UP:
- The Lakers will close out the regular season on Thursday with a home match against Georgia College. Gametime is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
