The Peach Belt Conference has announced the 2019-20 men's and women's track & field Teams of Academic Distinction. Formerly known as the All-Academic team, they are part of a season-long program recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of PBC student-athletes in the classroom as well as on the field.

To be eligible for the Teams of Academic Distinction, a student-athlete must 1) participate in at least half of his/her team's events and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and 3) completed at least one full academic year at his or her current institution and has reached sophomore athletic eligibility. The Peach Belt Conference Sports Information Directors oversee the program.

The PBC will recognize the Teams of Academic Distinction for all spring sports, even with all events canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Players named to the teams are based on grades through the fall 2019 semester.

Nia Elmore, Stephanie Escobar, Chaviya Jackson, Asia Love, Carla Catala Martin, and Jasmine Radford represented the women's track & field team for the spring 2020 season. Jhade Hayes was also included in the recognition for her participation last season.

The men's team was represented by two runners that participated on last year's team, they were Arusha Hunter and Brian Sims.
