MORROW, Ga. – Continuing their mini two-game road swing, Clayton State (2-0, 0-0 PBC) women's soccer looks to keep on rolling as they face Christian Brothers (1-0, 0-0 GSC) in a neutral site game in Columbus, Georgia on Friday, September 13. Game time is set for a special 12 p.m. matinee on Columbus State's campus.
 
The teams will meet for the first time since 2016 after playing three straight seasons to comprise the series history, one which the Buccaneers lead 2-1. They claimed the first meeting 3-2 at Laker Field on September 7, 2014 before notching a 2-1 decision Memphis, Tennessee on September 5, 2015.
 
Most recently the clubs met on September 3, 2016 in a neutral site game in Nashville, Tennessee, that going the way of Clayton State by a 2-1 score. Three players remain for the Lakers that played in that game, those being senior defender Janne Brouer (Aarhus, Denmark), senior midfielder Jane McKevitt (Thurls, Ireland) and senior midfielder Manoly Baquerizo (Guayaquil, Ecuador).
