MORROW, Ga. – Currently sitting in seventh place in the Peach Belt Conference standings with 13 points, Clayton State (7-6-1, 4-5-1 PBC) heads to affiliate member Albany State (4-10-0, 2-8-0 PBC) for the regular season finale for both teams on Saturday, November 9. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. in Albany, Georgia.
 
With Young Harris (15 points) done for the regular season following a 2-0 loss to UNC Pembroke today, the Lakers could move up to the No. 6 seed but must also fend off a pair of teams within striking distance behind them as well. Francis Marion (12) and Lander (11) could each jump up with a win but Clayton State does have the tiebreaker on both should they end up in a head-to-head tie.
 
FMU has the tougher road as they host Flagler which will be playing to clinch the PBC regular season title outright. Lander meanwhile will host a Georgia Southwestern team that has not won a league game this season.
 
With the Rams in just their third year of existence, this will be only the third meeting between the clubs. The Lakers delivered an 8-0 victory at ASU on October 7, 2017 and a 3-0 decision on October 3, 2018 at Laker Field.
