MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (0-2, 0-0 PBC) men's basketball will kick off the home season as they face West Georgia (1-2, 0-0 GSC) for the first time since 2012 when the teams meet at The Loch on November 16.
 
While the teams have not met in nearly seven years, there is a rich history that sees the Wolves holding a 21-12 all-time series lead. That dates back to December 13, 1993 when UWG won the first of four straight meetings, 75-72, over the course of the next four years.
 
The Lakers picked up their first win by a 90-77 score on January 24, 1996 and made it two in a row with a 94-88 decision on January 2, 1997, both of which took place in Morrow. From there, however, West Georgia took 13 of the next 16 meetings through December 11, 2004. Clayton State would snap that streak as they took seven of the next nine before falling 57-51 in Carrollton, Georgia in the last meeting on December 11, 2012.
