Expected Severe Rain From Tropical Storm Nestor Forces Clayton State Men's and Women's Soccer Postponements

MORROW, Ga. – A near 100-percent chance of rain and winds between 10-17 mph from Tropical Storm Nestor are expected to dump more than an inch of rain in both the Atlanta, Georgia and St. Augustine, Florida areas, resulting in the postponement of Clayton State's men's and women's soccer games scheduled for Saturday, October 19. Both games will now move to Sunday, October 20.

The women's team was slated to take on UNC Pembroke at 1 p.m. on Saturday and will now do so at that time on Sunday at Laker Field. The men will be in St. Augustine to face Flagler with that contest also originally scheduled for tomorrow. That game will also remain at its originally scheduled start time of 3:30 p.m., just a day later on Sunday.

Barring any additional weather related challenges, broadcasts for both games will go on as scheduled.

Stay tuned to www.ClaytonStateSports.com for any further updates on both games and for full coverage throughout the weekend.
